Volunteer

The Ottawa Mission was founded over 100 years ago by volunteers, and even today we could not offer many of our services without their generous help.

Volunteering at The Ottawa Mission is your chance to make a difference in our community. There are many opportunities for contributing a gift of your time to The Ottawa Mission.

Last year we welcomed more than 760 active volunteers, and over 45 active volunteer groups/organizations. Approximately 250 individuals volunteered each and every week, averaging over 2200 hours a month. Every hour that a volunteer gives us makes a difference in the life of a needy person.
